‘Zero Day’ goes for shooting

Iran first-time director Saeed Malekan has launched the shooting stage of his directing debut ‘Zero Day’.

‘Zero Day’ is a new narrative on a contemporary event; and is set to be filmed within two months in Iran and several foreign countries.

Iran actors Amir Jadidi and Saed Soheili are to play two lead roles in the project. Alongside, a couple of international actors have been also cast to be featured in ‘Zero Day’.

The team will also have a new prominent actor join them in the coming days whose name has not been announced yet.  

The screenplay of ‘Zero Day’ is co-written by Malekan and Bahram Tavakkoli.

‘Zero Day’ is said to be a different thriller in Iran cinema, gearing up to attend the upcoming edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
